Information reaching this publication indicates that Blantyre Synod Radio employees are staging a sit-in over salary discrepancies.
A visit to radio premises, faceofmalawi reporter found the workers including journalists and presenters just hovering outside.
The workers have also sealed an entrance to the radio station.
One of the workers who opted for anonymity said in the past months they have been receiving salaries late and the salaries are below the minimum wage set by the government of Malawi.
Effort to talk to Blantyre Synod General Secretary Baxton Maulidi proved futile.
