PETRA to Hold Elective Conference in October

The Peoples Transformation Party (PETRA) says it will hold its elective conference at the end of October at a venue yet to be announced in Lilongwe.
PETRA Secretary General Boniface Nyenyezi has stated that 700 delegates are expected to elect new party leadership.
Nyenyezi noted that, so far, no individual has come forward to challenge party president Kamuzu Chibambo, but all positions are up for contest.
Other political parties; Malawi Congress Party (MCP), Democratic Progressive Party (DPP), Peoples Party (PP) and others have already held their elective conferences in awork of 2025 general elections.
