Case of Rwandan woman Gentile Giramata and another individual accused of murdering her ex-husband, Noel Habimana, has been adjourned by the High Court in Lilongwe to October 2nd and 3rd.
During today’s proceedings, two witnesses from Airtel Malawi provided testimony regarding specific communications and locations related to the incident that occurred in 2022.
After their statements, state lawyer Dzikondianthu Malunda requested an adjournment due to the unavailability of some remaining witnesses.
Despite defense lawyer Khumbo Soko’s objections to the request, Judge Bruno Kalemba granted the state’s plea. The two accused individuals remain in remand custody as the case continues.
