A 32-year-old man identified as Kennedy Ngoma has died after allegedly throwing himself into a moving truck at Jenda in Mzimba.
Jenda police spokesperson Macfarlen Mseteka said the incident occurred on September 19, 2024, at the Jenda-Lilongwe depot, where his relatives were escorting him to Madisi.
Mseteka said it is believed the deceased wanted to relocate to Madisi as he claimed things were not working for him at Jenda.
He alleged that for the past few weeks Ng’oma has been having psychological issues, claiming his life had not turned out the way he had planned it at his age.
As they were waiting for a vehicle at the depot, he threw himself into a moving truck.
