Vin Nyirenda, a fourth year student studying Education at the University of Malawi (UNIMA), formerly known as Chancellor College is reportedly missing.
His friend Christopher Charles has confirmed of the development in a statement posted on his official facebook page seen by this publication.
According to Charles, Nyirenda went missing last week.
“Let him be found alive for the sake of his family and the future of this nation. The times we shared should not be the last ones pliz.
“Friends, wherever you see this young fella, Vin Nyirenda report to the nearest police he is missing. He is a Fourth-year student studying education at THE UNIVERSITY OF MALAWI. We pray for your safe return fada,” reads in part the statement.
The University is yet to comment on the matter.
