Spokesperson at the reformatory centre Holman Majiga says the prisoners are currently being monitored by a team of health personnel at the facility to assess their health.

Prison authorities in the district have started providing Read to Use Therapeutic Foods locally known as Chiponde to the affected prisoners and also providing them with two meals per day to address the problem.
