UNIMA Student Vincent Nyirenda Took His Own Life – Police

Police in Zomba have confirmed the tragic death of Vincent Nyirenda, a fourth-year student at the University of Malawi (UNIMA).
According to Inspector Patricia Sipiliano, his body was discovered hanging from a tree on Chipiloni Hill after he went missing for days.
A postmortem examination indicated that suffocation was the cause of death.
Nyirenda was from Chakwera Village in the Traditional Authority Kyungu area of Karonga district.
