Lilongwe City Council Imposes Fee For Photographers

The Lilongwe City Council has informed photographers that they need to pay a fee to obtain a permit for their work.
According to a statement from the council, studios are required to pay K190,000 per year.
They also mentioned that individuals who do photography independently must pay K105,000.
This comes at a time when photography businesses are increasingly emerging in the city.
