QECH Dr. Charles Mtibo, two others de-registered for soliciting money from patients

Medical Council of Malawi (MCM) has de-registered Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital (QECH) Dr. Charles Mtibo and two others for soliciting money from patients.

This has been confirmed in a statement released by MCM seen by this publication.

Mtibo together with Louis Linly, Sonographer and Henderson Nyirenda were found guilty for charging patients for services meant to be for free.

Mtibo and Linly have been de-registered for one year and have been asked to re-pay the money the charged the said patients.

While Nyirenda has been de-registered for 5 years.
