Information reaching us indicates that unknown men armed with knives and guns invaded the Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences (MUBAS) students’ Chichiri hostels last night, stealing various items. Some of the stolen items include laptops and cellphones.
MUBAS Students Representative Council president, Steve Kamitawa, stated that they have left the matter in the hands of the relevant authorities for further investigations.
Blantyre Police deputy spokesperson, Mary Chiponda, requested more time before commenting.
