Unima Officials Involved in Road Accident in Dedza

Late last night of 25 September 2025, University of Malawi (UNIMA) officials were involved in a serious road accident near Dedza at around midnight. The vehicle they were traveling in overturned three times.
The officials were returning from Karonga, where they had attended the burial of a student who recently made headlines in the news. Among those injured in the accident are Mr. Lamba, Mr. Manda, Mr. Dagoulas, and the Student Union President, Mr. Thanks Elia.
The injured are currently receiving medical treatment at Kamuzu Central Hospital in Lilongwe.
