Suspect Arrested in Connection with E-Hailing Driver’s Murder in Jo’burg

A 26-year-old South African man has been arrested for the murder of an e-hailing driver in Berea, Johannesburg in the country.
The suspect was apprehended during a joint operation conducted by the Johannesburg Metro Police Department (JMPD) Tactical Response Unit and the South African Police Service (SAPS) at Jabulani Hostel, Soweto.
During the arrest, authorities seized an unlicensed firearm.
The suspect now faces murder charges and is expected to appear in court soon
