Widow to late Vice President Dr. Saulos Chilima, Mary Nkhamanyachi Chilima has demanded for the commission of inquiry on the death of her husband in a plane Crash on June 10, 2024.
Mary has made the plea in a short statement posted on her official facebook page seen by this publication.
“29th September was our wedding anniversary.
“Ndikupempha nonse okhudzidwa kuti mundithandize kumema kafukufuku wapadera, kuti timve tsatanetsatane wa zomwe zinachitika pa 10 mpakana pa 11 June. #commissionofinquiry,” wrote Chilima.
The call from Chilima comes as various NGOs including the Public Affairs Committee (PAC) are also pushing for the same.
Chilima died together with 8 others in a plane crash.
