Two suspected thieves burnt to death in Nsanje

Two suspected thieves have been burnt to death while two others are battling for their lives at Nsanje District after being caught attempting to rob a businessman at Sorgin in the district.

Nsanje Police spokesperson Agnes Zalakoma has confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.

Zalakoma told the press that the armed thieves who were using a Land Cruiser invaded the house of John Meya with an intention to steal.

While in the act, the businessman noticed them and shouted for help. Villagers responded positively and apprehended the suspects.

Meanwhile, the two surviving thieves are admitted at Nsanje District Hospital.
