Malawian footballer based in South Africa Gabadinho Mhango was allegedly drunk driving and ended up causing an accident.
The striker who plays for Marumo Gallants might fall in hot water after club’s spokesperson Sello Nduna has confirmed the development.
“Unfortunately, we saw this very late yesterday on social media. That is when some of our guys from the team tried to check on him at our official residence,” Nduna told local South African media.
“We are still gathering information… we need to deal with all the facts. We don’t want to react to all these social media things that we have seen.
“We don’t condone such behaviour especially if it is against the law. We will follow the team’s disciplinary measures.
