Former President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika is on Sunday scheduled to grace this year’s Mulhako wa Alhomwe annual festival, scheduled to take place at Chonde Cultural Village in Mulanje.

The annual festival has commenced today in Mulunje and it will rich its climax on Sunday where Mutharika, leader of the opposition DPP grace and address the public.

According to festival’s Organizing Chairperson, Counsel Felix Tambulasi, the event is expected to attract over 40,000 people from across the country.

Mulhako wa Alhomwe was founded by late Bingu wa Mutharika.
