18 year old Mustafa Mailosi died after falling from a truck carrying bags of maize while traveling from Malomo to Ntchisi on the M7 road.
According to police spokesperson Salomy Zgambo, the truck was coming from Malomo in the Ntchisi district and was transporting 25 bags of maize along with four people, including Mailosi.
Zgambo stated that when the truck reached the village of Chilasa, Mailosi fell off the bags of maize and hit the ground.
According to the hospital report, Mailosi, who was from the village of Nkhondowe in the Nthondo chiefdom, died due to severe head injuries.
