President Dr. Lazarus Dr. Lazarus Chakwera has arrived in Blantyre ahead of the Presidential Charity Golf Tournament slated for this weekend.
His public appearance comes amid speculations of his death rumours on social medial especially facebook and WhatsApp.
Dr Chakwera is expected to participate in the Presidential Charity Golf Tournament on Saturday at the Limbe Country Club.
Yesterday Minister of Information and Digitalization Moses Kunkuyu promised to pounce on those people behind the said fake news.
Upon arriving in Blantyre CBD, Chakwera disembarked from his official vehicle together with first lady Monica Chakwera and walked for about a kilometer.
As this was not enough, Chakwera carried out some push-ups jointly with the Minister of Information.
