Former Malawi Congress Party (MCP) Secretary General Eisenhower Mkaka has lambasted people who were spreading rumours of the ill health of President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera on social media, saying the President has resurrected.
The whole of this week social media has been awash with reports that President Chakwera has been strike stroke on the left side of his body.
Some went further to claim that Chakwera has been frown out of the country to seek medical treatment in South Africa.
As this was not enough, others claimed that Chakwera is no more.
But all speculations came to an end today after President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera appeared to the public in Blantyre as he walked from crock tower to Victoria Avenue.
Writing on his official facebook page Mkaka accused the opposition of being behind the hoax.
“Mupindulanji pofalitsa nkhani zabodza? Ayi anakomoka, ayi wapanga stroke kumanzere, kenaka wafa!
“Lazaro ija ndi iyi yauka kwa akufa ndi mphamvu zina!,” wrote Mkaka.
He added: “Tiyeni tingopita pa ground basi!
“Dr Laz 2030 woooo!.”
Chakwera is tomorrow scheduled to take part in the Presidential Charity Golf Tournament at Limbe Country Club.
