Information reaching this publication indicates that Nkhotakota District Council has sealed Kaliba Beach Resorts over unpaid council rates.
According information at hand, the resorts owe the council money amounting to over MK150,000.
One of the officials from Kaliba Beach Resorts has confirmed of the development but has accused the council of acting in a hasty.
He said the owner of the resort promised to settle the bill by Wednesday this week.
