In a recent development, U.S. law enforcement officials have arrested 49-year-old Vem Miller, on suspicion of plotting to assassinate former U.S. President Donald Trump.
According to Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco, Miller, who allegedly posed as a journalist, was apprehended while attempting to enter the gates of the Coachella Valley venue in California, where Trump was holding a campaign rally.
Upon searching Miller’s vehicle, police discovered two firearms, a significant amount of ammunition, and falsified identification documents bearing various names. This arrest marks the third time someone has been detained in connection with threats or plots against Trump.
