Musician Fredokiss, whose real name is Penjani Kalua, has announced his candidacy for the position of president at the UTM convention scheduled for November 17, 2024, in Mzuzu.
Kalua’s announcement comes barely hours after the UTM party through its spokesperson Felix Njawala announced the venue of the elective conference.
Writing on his official facebook page Kalua said: “I’m excited to share that I’ll be running for UTM Presidential candidate at our upcoming convention! 🇲🇼
“The time has come for the youth to be bold enough to be counted. We cannot leave this fight to the same players—we must take charge of our future. The journey to 2025 starts now. Let’s shape a brighter Malawi together!”
Kalua will face UTM Secretary General Patricia Kaliati, State Vice President Dr . Michael Usi and others at the post.
