The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that President of India, Droupadi Murmu, will arrive in Malawi today for an official visit.
A statement issued by the ministry earlier yesterday indicated that the Indian leader will engage in bilateral talks with President Lazarus Chakwera to enhance the existing ties between the two countries.
President Murmu will touch down at Kamuzu International Airport in Lilongwe, where she will be welcomed by government officials and dignitaries.
The discussions are expected to focus on strengthening cooperation and fostering mutual development.
