DAPP Dowa Teachers Training College has honored Chambu Primary School teacher and owner of Zoe Foundation Temwani Chilenga over her role in transforming her surrounding community.
Chilenga received the award today(Friday, 19, 2024) during DAPP Dowa TTC open day where she was also the guest of honour at the event.
Speaking after receiving the award Chilenga hailed the college for recognizing for her role she is playing by supporting over 100 orphans.
“Thank you so much DAPP Dowa Teachers Training College for inviting me to be the guest of honour during today’s open day. Thank you for the medal and thank you for giving me a chance to inspire the students,” said Chilenga.
Apart from the award, the college has also donated clothes to Zoe Foundation.
Before meeting with well-wishers who support orphans at Zoe Foundation, Chilenga was using part of salary to assist needy learners at Chambu Primary School with textbooks, pencils and school uniform.
At the moment Temwa Chilenga is supporting over 100 orphans.
She also support people are Zoe Foundation with various initiatives.
