One of Malawi’s prominent female artists, Queen Sheba, has recently made waves online with a statement of encouraging fellow women women not to expose their body on internet.
In a post shared on her official Facebook page yesterday, the artist advised women that “not all bodies are meant to be shown to the public.”
The post has since ignited a buzzing discussion across social media, particularly following the recent viral circulation of a half-naked picture of fellow artist Tuno.
Queen Sheba, who is known for partial dressing, was targeted by internet users who accused her of relying on surgery to enhance her hips and buttocks.
In response, Queen Sheba clarified that her post was not directed at any individual, emphasizing that her intention was merely to advise women on body confidence and self-respect.
She ended her post with the statement, “Even if people mock me for having had surgery, it doesn’t matter.” She also pointed out that “the cost of surgery is high and not affordable for everyone.”
