Information reaching this publication indicates that angry villagers have dumped the body of a six year old girl at a police station on Likoma Island.
The girl went missing yesterday evening and was found dead this morning.
Earlier the villagers stormed the police unit demanding the release of the people suspected of killing the girl to deal with them.
This resulted into running battles between the law enforcers and the angry communities.
Later one the community members invaded the mortuary where the body of the girl was being kept and retrieved it.
The villagers took the body and dumped it at the police station.
The angry communities are demanding answers from the law enforcers.
Police are yet to comment on the matter.
