67 Year-Old Man Electrocuted In Thyolo

A 67-year-old man from the area of Sub-Traditional Authority Chidothe in Thyolo District has been electrocuted by a live wire.
STA Chidothe has confirmed the sad development has identified the deceased as Janson Chinyama who met his fate when he was cutting down bluegum trees around his house at Chaone ADMARC.
Chief Chidothe says late Chinyama started cutting down the trees yesterday when there were power outages and continued the work today, but the tree branches got in contact with live wires after the power was restored. An eye witness, Mphatso Gamuti, says the deceased sustained burns.
Lim Janson hailed from Kambuwa village Sub-Traditional Authority Chidothe in the district.
