DPP speaks out on Kaliati’s arrest

Opposition Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) has come out of the cocoon to condemn the arrested of United Transformation Movement (UTM) Secretary General Patricia Kaliati.
Kaliati has been arrested few hours ago on suspicion of conspiring with others to commit a serious felony, according to a statement released by police spokesperson Peter Kalaya.
In a statement posted on its official facebook page DPP said: “Stand Strong with Hon. Patricia Kaliati!
“We, the DPP, stand united with UTM Secretary General, Hon. Patricia Kaliati, who has been unjustly arrested by the failed MCP government.
“Your courage inspires us all! #JusticeForKaliati #KweiniSupport.”
Kaliati is scheduled to appear in the next 48 hours.
