Police at Mabopane in South Africa have arrested a suspect following the discovery of a burned and dismembered body.

The family of 29-year-old Kgomotso Jack Monare made the horrific find while visiting his home in Mabopane Unit U EXT.

The family was alerted by a foul smell coming from the house, and upon further investigation, they found human body parts that had been burned.

Additional searches revealed more body parts hidden in a bag under the bed. Kgomotso fled the scene when his family arrived but was apprehended after being on the run for eight days. The deceased, identified as Sgithi, was found mutilated, leading to an intense investigation and eventual arrest of the suspect.
