Bail hearing of United Transformation Movement (UTM) Secretary General Patricia Kaliati who is accused of conspiring to kill President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera has been adjourned to 4pm.
Kaliati was arrested on Thursday last week and he has spent four days in police cell.
The court will decide whether she can be released on bail or remain in custody as investigations continue.
The state want Kaliati to remain in custody for another 7 days while the defence team led by lawyer Kalekeni Kaphale are against the request.
The case is before Lilongwe Chief Resident Magistrate Rodrick Michongwe.
