The Malawi Police Services have confirmed that Secretary General for United Transformation Movement (UTM) Patricia Kaliati is scheduled to appear in court today on 28 October 2024.
MPS has made the confirmation in press statement signed by national Police spokesperson Peter Kalaya.
In a press statement, police have indicated that investigations on are ongoing regarding charges against Kaliati.
Kaliati was arrested last Thursday on 24 October 2024 on the allege that she was involved in planning a conspiracy to commit a serious offence.
Further details on the case are expected to emerge as investigations continue and police have denied to reveal all the details of the case to protect its wittiness and jeopardising the investigation.
