Charles Mchacha re-appointed as DPP Regional governor for South

Former President Peter Mutharika who is also leader of the opposition Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) has re-appointed Charles Mchacha as regional governor for the South.
DPP Administrative Secretary Francis Mphepo has confirmed of the development in a statement made available to this publication.
Mphepo said Mchacha’s appointment is with immediate effect.
The development means Mchacha now seizes to be National Director of Operations as elected on the elective conference which happened last month.
Mchacha was fired from his post for pushing for Mutharika’s retirement.
