United Transformation Movement (UTM) Secretary General Patricia Kaliati has finally presented nomination papers ahead of the party’s elective conference.
As a woman Kaliati has parted-ways with MK10 million.
Kaliati is the third aspiring President to present nomination after former Reserve Bank of Malawi (RBM) Governor Dalitso Kabambe and engineer Dr. Mathews Mtumbuka.
Speaking after presentation the nomination papers Kaliati urged UTM delegates to vote for her to the elective conference if they want to experience real change.
Kaliati said once voted into power in the 2025 polls she will transform the country by coming up with more factories in the country.
She also promised to deal with fuel crisis in the country by looking at factors that is leading to high fuel consumption in the country.
