A total of 2127 Malawians have arrived in this country in September and October after being expelled from South Africa.
The spokesperson of the Immigration Department Mr. Wellington Chiponde has confirmed that these people were deported because they violated the laws of the country and because they were found without travel documents.
Meanwhile, security expert Aubrey Kabisala said that Malawians should make sure that they have all the official documents when they go to the host countries as well as work permits.
Montrhs ago, South African government intensified its efforts to locate and deport foreigners living and working in the country without proper documentation.
This crackdown led to many individuals from Malawi and Zimbabwe being taken to the Lindela repatriation center before being sent back to their home countries.
