The police in Limbe in Blantyre city are holding three men in custody on suspicion of having sex with a fifteen (15) year old girl.
Mr James Masiye aged 26, Mr George Magwaya aged 32 and Mr Mike Kachamba aged 41 raped the child in Bangwe in Blantyre.
According to Limbe police reporter Aubrey Singanyama, James Masiye popularly known as ‘Lasta’ met the child in the month of May when he was visiting his grandmother and dragged him to his house where he slept with him for three days.
In June, George Magwaya seduced the child and slept with him for one day.
And Mr. Mike Kachamba lured the child with a plate of food in October and slept with him in the house where he sells his clothes.
The child was beaten by a drug addict’s wife who bullied them while they were doing these things, which led to the matter being reported to the police.
The medical results show that the child was definitely raped and is pregnant.
The suspect pleaded guilty to the charge and is expected to appear in court soon.
