Rev Dr. Wilfred Sumani appointed as acting Vice Chancellor of Catholic University

Information reaching this publication indicates that Reverend Father Dr. Wifred Sumani has been appointed as acting Vice Chancellor of the Catholic University of Malawi (CUNIMA).
Sumani’s appointment follows the death of Professor Ngeyi Ruth Kanyongolo who was the Vice Chancellor.
This has been confirmed in a letter signed by Episcopal Conference of Malawi President Archbishop Desmond Tambala who is also Chancellor of CUNIMA.
According to the letter, the appointment is with effect from November 4, 2024.
