United Transformation Movement (UTM) Party presidential aspirant Newton Kambala has intensified his campaign for the party’s presidency position ahead of the November 17 convocation.

Today Kambala is in Ntcheu meeting delegates.

He has been accompanied by UTM National Director of Women, Annie Makuta, Dr. Joseph Chidanti Malunga, and Yongo wa Yongo, who are calling on the delegates to vote for Kambala as the rightful candidate for the president position.

Kambala is expected to compete with Dr. Mathews Mtumbuka, Dalitso Kabambe, and Patricia Kalaiti, who have also submitted their presidential nominations.

The party is expected to close receiving of nomination papers on Monday next week.

Meanwhile, UTM Director of Youth Penjani Kalua has pulled out of the Presidential race.
