Former President Peter Mutharika is this coming Saturday scheduled to grace the blue night fundraising dinner and dance organized by the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) at Golden Peacock Hotel in Blantyre.
DPP spokesperson Shadreck Namalomba has confirmed of the development in a statement made available to this publication.
The fundraising has been organized with an aim of raising money for the campaign ahead of the 2025 polls.
Mutharika is seeking a come back after losing the fresh 2020 Presidential polls which saw President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera emerging victorious.
Malawians will go to polls on September 16, 2025 to elect President, lawmakers and Ward Councillors.
Meanwhile, registration exercise in redness of the polls is underway.
