NOMA Fires Head Coach Meke Mwase For Unexplained Absence

The Mighty Mukuru Wanderers FC has officially terminated the contract of head coach Meke Mwase, citing his failure to report for duty since November 4, 2024.

The club announced the decision in a press statement dated November 15, though it has been shared early today, November 14, on it’s official Facebook page.

Reports indicate that Mwase stopped attending his duties without notifying the club, leaving only his car keys at the club’s reception before disappearing . His sudden absence left the club hunting for him since goes awol .

The Nomads have stated that they are currently arranging for an interim coach to take over and maintain team stability.

Mwase was appointed as head coach on September 22, 2024, following the resignation of Coach Nsazurwimo Ramadhan in May 2024.
