Information reaching our news desk indicates that a woman was found dead with gunshot wounds at Chitakale Plantations in Mulanje yesterday.
Reports suggest that the woman, who has not yet been identified, was shot by the guards at the plantations.
Mulanje Police Officer-In-Charge, Owen Maganga, also confirmed the development, stating that they have received information that the woman, from Gulumba, was found in Chitakale forest with gunshot wounds.
“Police are now at Chitakale to secure the area,” said the OC.
