Former President Peter Mutharika who is also leader of the opposition Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) is this morning scheduled to grace the orientation of the newly elected leaders of the National Governing Council (NGC) in Blantyre.
DPP Spokesperson Shadreck Namalomba has confirmed of the development in a statement made available to this publication.
According to Namalomba, all is set for the event to commence at Lotus Hotel.
The newly elected NGC members will be drilled on how to run their respective portfolios in the run up to the 2025 polls.
