The commission of inquiry on the aircraft accident which claimed lives of Vice President Dr. Saulos Chilima and eight others says it has completed the first and second phases of the exercise conducted in Northern and Eastern regions.
Chairperson of the Commission, Justice Jabbar Alide has confirmed of the development in a statement made available to this publication.
According to Alide, in the two phases it met and talked to members of the general public as well as officials from various public and private institutions.
However, Alide has bemoaned lack of volunteers from the public on what happened on the fateful.
“The response from the members of the general public to the call for information and voluntary presentation of any information as regards the accident has been very poor,” reads part of the statement.
