Popular Malawian social media influencer Gerald Chavez Kampanikiza has accused the government of failing to address the ongoing fuel crisis within the promised timeframe.
Kampanikiza made a bold and straightforward critique on his Facebook page, expressing his dissatisfaction, highlighting what he perceives as a lack of accountability and urgency from the presidency.
Kampanikiza stated that “President Chakwera is predictable in how he does his things, and the government is on auto-pilot. People are not afraid because they know he will not fire them. He has failed to send warning shots to his people, hence no one feels challenged to take action.”
The influencer further criticized the administration for retaining underperforming officials, suggesting that many individuals who should have been dismissed from their roles are still being kept in office.
