14-year-old dies following lightning strike in Balaka

A 14-year-old boy has died after being struck by lightning in Balaka district.
Balaka police chief Dan Sauteni has confirmed the about the matter and said the deceased is Davie Bwanaisa.
According to Sauteni, this happened this Monday evening in the village of Chief Kanyimbo in the district.
Mr. Sauteni said this happened when the boy and his brothers went to the field to plant seeds.
The results of the Phalula hospital have shown that the deceased died from a lightning strike.
