Police crash with fuel vendors in Neno

Information reaching this publication indicates that there are running battles between police and fuel vendors at Neno boma market.
It is said that the fracas ensued after an attempt by the law enforcers to confiscate the fuel from vendors who are selling illegally and they are resisting the police action.
The irate vendors are burning tyres.
Vendors have taken advantage of fuel scarcity especially petrol by selling the commodity at an exorbitant price.
One litre of petrol is selling at MK6,000 on black market.
