Football Association of Malawi (FAM) President, Fleetwood Haiya, has described his visit to Egypt as a significant step toward advancing football development in Malawi.
Speaking today at the CAF assembly held at the organization’s headquarters in Egypt, Haiya emphasized the importance of international collaboration in implementing transformative strategies for Malawian football.
During the visit, Haiya held discussions with CAF General Secretary Veron Mosengo-Omba, focusing on initiatives to support Malawi’s football development agenda. Additionally, he met with CAF’s Director of Member Association Relations, Genani Korra, to strengthen partnerships aimed at advancing the sport in the country.
Haiya expressed optimism that the engagements would bring positive outcomes for Malawian football at all levels.
