A Miami high school football coach has been placed on leave after he was reportedly caught on camera watching pornography in a classroom while students were present.

Max Edwards, the head football coach at Miami Jackson Senior High School, was filmed by a student as he sat at a desk with explicit content displayed on a school computer. The footage, which was obtained by CBS Miami, shows the coach in the corner of a classroom with the adult film clearly visible on the screen.

The Miami-Dade School District has since launched an investigation into the incident, and Edwards has been removed from the school while the matter is being looked into.

“Miami-Dade Public Schools is disturbed by the allegation made regarding concerning behavior involving an employee at Miami Jackson Senior High School,” the district said in a statement. “The individual has been removed from the school site pending the outcome of an investigation.”

At this time, it is unclear whether Edwards will face criminal charges related to the incident. The coach, a prominent figure in Florida high school football, is known for his leadership at the school, but his future with the district remains uncertain as the investigation continues.
