The Commission of Inquiry on the Aircraft accident involving Vice President Saulos Chilima and 9 others said it will submit it’s report on December 14, 2024.
The Commission will today close the process of taking evidence and proceed to take findings and recommendations.
In press release signed by Chairperson of the inquiry Justice Jabbar Alide the Commission held virtue interviews with witnesses not capable of tendering their evidence in person.
The statement further says the Commission gathered evidence from 120 witnesses and requested President Chakwera for an extension of the commission considering the magnitude of the evidence.
The Commission was supposed to submit it’s report on November 30, 2024.
