State Vice President Dr. Michael Usi who is also former President of the United Transformation Movement (UTM) is today in Mulanje cheering some vendors ahead of the 2025 polls.

The trip comes barely days after suspending the said trip after some party followers invaded his house in Blantyre to voice out their concerns.

Addressing the vendors, Usi said some government officials are sleeping on the job which is making Malawians to insult President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera.

Usi cited the delay in bringing the Public Address System to be used by him while in the tour of the district.

“Zaykhulila zomwe ndimayenela kubwela kuti ndizigwilisa ntchito kuno zimayenela kubwela zulo koma anthu amene amayang’ana zimenezo alineng’a ku Blantyre and ngati anthu amenewa akupanga chipongwe ine kulibwanji inuyo?queried Usi while attracting ululations from the people.

Usi said the said people should be uprooted from government system.
