Tay Grin Nominated for Africa Achievement Awards in the U.S.

Malawian artist Tay Grin, popularly known as Nyau King, has been nominated for the prestigious Africa Achievement Awards in the United States.
According to a statement shared on his social media, Tay Grin has been shortlisted for the African International Cultural Ambassador Award, recognizing his efforts to represent African culture globally through his music and artistry.
Reacting to the nomination, Tay Grin said: “While some label my music as rural, I take pride in representing my culture. It’s fulfilling to see the world appreciating the work I do.”
The award ceremony will take place on Sunday, December 15, in Seattle, a city set to host the FIFA Club World Cup.
